I had a really hard time believing that he was actually hanging it up

The guy is monstrously competitive and still one of the best in the league.

And yeah, I'm kinda sick of him and wish he would retire, but I'm also interested to see what he can do. He might be the greatest player ever, and it'd be kind of a shame for him to hang it up while he still had some in the tank.
