Well, we are an 11th seed so that hypothesis has legs

Unless the committee is asked that question directly we might not ever know. If we were an 6th seed - which is where I thought we should be seeded - then maybe we were already safely in but as an 11th seed, who knows?

At least it no longer matters how we got into the tournament, it only matters that we ARE in it.
