I acknowledged that he was playing 50% better than he had all season and becoming the player we expected before the Duke game. He made some big 3s in the Carolina Game that helped secure the Tech win and was again very good for about 75% of the Duke game. Caught up in all the hysteria of winning against Duke was that he was not so great down the stretch and made several boneheaded plays. Fortunately, at that point, Duke lost their legs and were missing badly the last 10 minutes. If Duke had made some of those 3s it might have been a different ballgame and those mistakes costly. MY knows best and gave Murphy the vast majority of the minutes in the 2nd half over Pedulla. We won so everything is great. I still say he needs to go back to the formula employed in the second half of the season and give Pedulla the majority of the minutes off the bench.
