Not scientific, but everyone I know watches at least some NCAAMT


No one I know watches any women's. If there was a market for women's basketball games, media companies would pay to televise it, that's how it works.

The idea that there should be parity is silly. Like all entertainment, and all sports is entertainment, the participants are worth what the viewers through the time they spend watching and the revenue the media companies can get from selling advertising can generate. The market sets the value, not some silly idea of parity.
