We were blocked and on the outside looking in, with no hope of getting into the NCAA tournament.

Only when we beat all of the elites, and there was no on else to Knock us out, did the respect begin.
Only then did the "establishment" pour on the accolades, and invite us to the Dance.

I will never forget how MY and these boys broke the chains holding back our Basketball Identity Nationwide, and then rose up to break the sports machines, for all to witness in the basketball world.

This team would not be denied, and they kept playing for each other and their coach until they had beaten ALL of the elites in the ACC, that wanted us to go away quietly.

Hokie Pride only begins to describe how I feel about what we have just witnessed!
We can now rise into the light, and show the world how good Hokies can be.

Coach K has seen alot of great teams, and if you listen to his post game comments, he was talking to Hokie Nation, and letting the world know how special we are.

It just goes to show you that teams built on Greed, 5 Star recruits, and Fame, can be dismantled on National TV by a Hokie Team playing for each other, with a loving coach (MY).
