Not sure if it's just smart players playing smart or something Mike is doing but it's rare that teams go on big, unanswered runs.

When one is starting, we make a play on D or more importantly, get a good possession on O, take the ball inside and get a score. Early in the season we would jack up a 3, miss it badly and the run would build. When you do that the other team panics and starts jacking up their own 3s rather than running their offense, which plays into our hands.
