If I were seeding, I don't think you make #1 seed play a #8/#9 VT


I don't think it'd be very fair to make the #1 seed play one of the hottest teams. Same reason Texas A&M shouldn't be a #8/#9 if they win. Based on Net ratings, you could easily justify making VT a #6 or #7 but you could also make VT a #10. I don't think you make VT a #11 seed cause that's not really fair to the #6 seed, unless the #6 seed has been slipping.
