our high school baseball team did same: we won 17 straight my junior year.


i tell people now that we continued so long because other teams wilted/passed out when we got off the bus and then they proceeded to lose another game.
that’s 5 continuous weeks of uniforms going unwashed. whew: p-u! if I say so myself.

Warwick finished #3 in state in 1968.

and our locker room and equipment/uniform closet should have been designated a super-fund site.
