I am a new poster but long time follower of the great info and discussions you guys have here on this new softball board. Thanks to each of you and most especially to VTChip for his great information filled postings.

Here goes my two cents worth. Early in the season there was lots of discussion about the lack of hitting from our ladies but with the improved hitting recently those discussion have died down. Let me remind you that pitching is normally ahead of hitting in the early season. Our ladies were playing very good teams and that means they were seeing very strong pitchers on those teams. As proof we were not hitting that poorly, if you go back to each of the box scores for these first 20 games you will see that these ladies had more hits than the other team in every one of those 20 games. Yes, even the 3 games we lost. Check it out!
