I doubt understand how a bubble team enters a major conference tournament


Just on the bubble and it's said they NEED to win two game. The team wins three games (two of guaranteed NCAA tourney-bound teams) yet there are still on the bubble out. It's as though the conference tourney doesn't matter.

Why can't it just be said that you won't get in the tourney unless you win it all?
