I was a freshman in '82-'83 so this is my 40th season as a Hokie fan


And this will be the first time I ever see the Hokies play in a conference championship game. And it's the AC-frickin-C, the Holy Grail of basketball conferences.

Tomorrow night we have a chance to make the rotting, bloated corpse of Bill Brill start doing somersaults 6 feet below the ground in Durham North Carolina.

Tomorrow night we can get redemption for all the historic injustices, the certifiably insane exclusion of the Hokies from the tournament, the bad seedings, the sweet 16 loss to Duke at the buzzer, and perhaps the biggest injustice of all, that the NCAA waited until just after Dell Curry graduated to add a 3 point line.

Tomorrow night we have a chance to end Coach K's ACC career with a loss.

It's all there for the taking.
