I'd be thrilled if the program just got better each week...


When Tech wins draw controls, they're a Top 15-25 team. Notre Dame was ahead 14-6 in draw controls early in the 3rd quarter, then Tech dominated Notre Dame in the second half. Tech's problem has been draw controls and slow starts offensively. Both happened today in the first quarter. I don't think Notre Dame is as good as their #15 ranking but beating them is always enjoyable. It was only Tech's second win over them.

Notre Dame scored 4 goals in the first 4 minutes. Notre Dame's head coach Christine Halfpenny (a Tech grad) was Skiera's position coach at Duke. They have been close friends ever since. Skiera is 2-1 in conference play. I was expecting 2-1 vs. Pitt and Louisville and maybe a third win over UVA but now I feel Tech has a good chance against both Duke and UVA. Notre Dame already beat UVA.
