I guess my further thought is


would his so-so/bad defense have cost more than his offense? Would it have been worse than the group than was defending when Clemson came back from an 11 pt. deficit to tie the game?

(Would he have started to try to pass through multiple defenders and turning the ball over, etc.)

All unknowns, I suppose.
