Exactly. That's why I always chuckle when people try to have a DAY where


no one buys gas. Even if every single person in the US didn't buy gas on one particular day it would do nothing to change the price. A couple weeks might have some impact but not nearly what people would expect not to mention it's basically logistically impossible to expect no one in the US to buy gas for two entire weeks. In the end gas prices are way more complicated than most people realize.
