The Bucs (4-14) are looking to snap a nine-game losing skid on Wednesday when they travel to No. 6 Virginia Tech. ETSU is led in hitting by Kelly Warren (Mechanicsville, Va.) with a .407 batting average. Warren has seven RBIs to her credit and has stolen 11-of-15 bases. The Virginia native is two stolen bases shy of becoming the all-time stolen bases leader in ETSU history. Newcomers Riley Tucker (Mount Pleasant, N.C.) and Cameron Young (Knoxville, Tenn.) have seen their averages rise above the .280 mark with Tucker batting .292. Tucker also boasts the best ERA on the team with a 3.72 ERA.

Series History
ETSU is 1-16 all-time against the Hokies, winning the lone game on April 21, 2004 by a score of 4-2. The Bucs last played the Hokies on Feb. 17, 2019, dropping an 8-3 outing to Virginia Tech. The Bucs are 0-7 all-time when playing in Blacksburg, Va.
