He basically sets the field in February and moves teams up or down from that anchor point based on game to game results. The reality is the committee no longer weighs recent results, so they're not looking at end of season game by game results while Lunardi weighs late season wins much more.

It's certainly possible the committee could be doing the same thing, but they've made it a point to say recent performance doesn't matter so they shouldn't be tracking things day by day.
