GT is currently ranked anywhere from #9 to 13 in the major polls (Collegiate Baseball; USA Today Coaches; D1 Baseball). It's won consecutive weekend series vs Wright State, Gardner-Webb and top-20 Georgia, and carries a #34 RPI (and #95 SOS) ranking from Warren Nolan.

The early season wins hopefully instilled some confidence and momentum in the Hokies, and will lead to good outcomes through the weekend.
