I'd accept a couple parts of that deal you posted yesterday, though most
seemed hard against it.
Recognize Crimea as not part of Ukraine. Fine. It's a fait accompli anyway, and I'm pretty sure that well over 50% of Crimeans wanted to be part of Russia anyway, so I'd think we'd be OK with self determination.
No NATO for Ukraine. I'm good with that too, just so long as Putin recognizes that if he tries this again, the sanctions are back on.
As for giving up the eastern 2 provinces? Nah. Never joining the EU? I'd hold off on agreeing to that one because the EU is NOT a military alliance. Should be no threat to Russia, unless they're just looking to hold Ukraine down.
I'd also demand monetary reparations from Russia, but would be willing to then waive those in exchange for Putin dropping the Eastern Province requirement.
