but I really "give all the glory" to Chip (and of course Coach Pete and the ladies themselves). All I do is write a check here and there. Chip, on the other hand, deserves most of the accolades from anyone here on TSL. When you look at the TIME and ENERGY (as well as his OWN MONEY) that that guy invests in Hokie softball (as well as other sports)nobody holds a candle to Chip!! Stop and think about it, just when it comes to softball, Chip travels to games home and away, covers the games both with real-time message board posts and then writes game summaries for TSL, posts regular updates on the message boards to keep fans in the loop regarding all things Hokie softball, organizes fundraisers and is the point man for gathering money AND then hand-delivering it to Coach Pete and the Hokie Club and the list goes on, as we all know. And he does it all for a salary of $0 - now THAT is TRUE HOKIE FAN!!! I have never met the man but I know he would be a dear friend if I lived in the area. It's an honor for me just to be able to donate some $ through Chip to help support the cause that he has so passionately organized ground-swelling support for. I am smart enough to realize that we have something TRULY special in this VT softball team as well as it's #1 fan Chip so it's with honor and joy that I give a little $ to show my appreciation and support.
