I opened a Fidelity account in November to manage myself

Focused on dividends and highly rated funds. Bought Chevron and Exxon for their 5% or so dividends. Added to them occasionally. Both are up 39%. Volero and Phillips up about 15%. Bought a little Gold and Silver before the war, and they’ve done well. I sell and rebuy when the price bounces and dips. My highly rated funds have sucked, but my good is keeping the account in the green, and that doesn’t include the dividends. It’s going to a long slog for the funds I’m afraid.
