Unfortunately, I think the Chi-Coms have upped their technology game...


As depicted in the book. At the time, the CCP technology was not at near-peer level as it appears to be now. Their industrial espionage has really catapulted them in a technological means.

It's amazing how many things have come to pass or close to in relation to his writing.
