Two days except for being really tired. It wasn’t until the beginning of the second night when I started feeling achy & discovered I had a fever that I suspected I had COVID. I had a fever off & on for 3 nights & after that I felt fine again. I never lost my sense of smell or taste & never had any breathing issues or even a runny or stuffy nose or sore throat. Mine mostly felt like it was attacking my solar plexus area. I did develop a very slight dry cough for about a week after. I was told after being tested at a CVS drive-thru to quarantine for 10 days from my first symptom. I never went to a doctor.

I know everyone has slightly different symptoms & I had the first variety of COVID. I do recall reading that the Omnicron variety was much more in the upper respiratory area which is why it spread so fast. That could be why you have a runny nose & sore throat.

I’m assuming the positive outcome on the test you took means you have it. I can’t advise on what you should do other than to quarantine for 10 days from your fist symptoms. Only you know if you need to see a doctor. Whatever you decide, I hope you pull through easily and without any lasting problems. Good luck!
