This is truly something special that Pete and the ladies have going on - unbelievable really. I see a lot of similarities to this softball team and our '99 football team - some rare once in a lifetime talent (well, hopefully not once in a lifetime but you never know!) that could result in a VERY special year (heck, it already is!). We need to continue to get people on the bandwagon - Chip you have done such a REMARKABLE job in raising program interest but I am not sure we can do too much ie maybe some regular reminders on the subscribers board that 1) that for those that don't pay attention (and I was one of those until late last year!), our softball team is having what appears to be a truly magical season, 2) we have a new softball message board, and 3) Chip has ongoing fundraising project(s) and if at all possible, GIVE, GIVE, GIVE because softball is one of those sports where a little bit of money can make a HUGE impact on the program. And oh yea, perhaps most importantly, encourage people to watch games - either streamed or in person, when possible because softball really is FUN!!! Again, all of this coming from a guy who NEVER could have imagined himself watching or getting excited over SOFTBALL!!!!
