Historically, teams have not played 20 regular season games in conference

either. With conferences playing more intra-conference games, we might be entering a bit of a new era in that respect, as evidenced by the number of teams with ugly looking overall records that we're seeing on the bubble. I think adding another Quad 1 win today likely puts Michigan in.
