Again, NOT arguing the issues in the post. Just giving their perspective


And I largely DO NOT agree with their perspective. I think they are wrong personally, but I'm giving you the take of the what is held by a majority of the Russian people. That, I'm certain of having lived there on and off for about 2 years.

They don't see this war as something just with Ukraine. They are already interpreting it as a War with the west, and this is my worry about the escalations. I just don't think they have the mentality to accept defeat. I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see it. It's a horrific scenario and I pray daily for a coup and for someone to take Putin off earth and out of this world.
