We appear to be repeating all of the 20th century in about 5 years
But I think the Soviet Union collapsed based in part on a failed economy and the massive number of dead troops shipped home from Afghanistan. Their economy currently has 80% inflation, they are gonna default on loans, and once again there will be huge numbers of dead Russians coming home from a losing proxy war against the US. Russia has a declining/aging population, not sure they are up for big losses in the younger generation.
I think we’ve seen this movie before, russia looks to be approaching stall speed….going to be tough for them to navigate. I hope we keep turning up the pressure from every direction(economic, information domain, proxy war).
