I know we have some kind of "non- assassination policy", but I always


thought that odd (to be charitable). For some reason you could kill as many soldiers as you want, take out a few civilians as collateral damage...

But target the leader? No, no, no...we can't do that. It almost sounds like, "Leaders? They are one of us! Next thing you know WE will be targeted!"

That policy had problems from the beginning, IMO. And if Putin is "covered" by it, now is the time for it to go. And maybe openly talking about taking this killer out will be a deterrent for the next one that comes along. As I said, Putin has no such policy for the president of Ukraine. What's good for the goose is good for the gander, I say.
