Never been a better platform for connecting people to products / interests

I get that people hate ads. In reality people hate ads that don't interest them. Facebook has me well figured out. An outdoorsy father of small children with a modest amount of disposable income.

I can't tell you the full number of products I've bought through facebook ads, but I'll share my favorites:

- Camp Chef Griddle
- Ridge Wallet
- An adapter that allows for the refilling of coleman propane bottles
- Grip 6 belts
- A collapsible BBQ Prep tray
- WTP holsters
- Sporting clothing
- Magazine Speed Loaders
- Stop Box and AR block
-... the list goes on.

FB is a fantastic and cheap way to set a limited budget to reach the best demographic possible. If you've done your homework as a company, FB allows you to target the EXACT group that will most likely have a "need" for your product. It works. Very well. And I for one love it over the generic Google ads, etc. I don't care about Centrum Silver or whole life insurance products. I'll probably buy a decently priced 3x magnifier for my AR should one pop-up.

At the same time I get more breaking news and first hand accounts on FB than most other places. I don't post but maybe one every few months, but I'm constantly looking at Fly tying patters, box blind build plans, smoker tips and recipes, etc.
