Here I am! Ibuprofen AND Tylenol ARE “pain killers”. The fact that they are

OTC means they are much safer than meds done by prescription. Several studies show that the combo gives more pain relief than opioids ( controlled double blind studies…. Gold standard) so most dentists now have mostly stopped prescribing otherwise.
Also most graft procedures now are relatively easy. You didn’t specify whether it was augmentation for an implant or a graft for recession and lack of keratinized tissue but both today are not as “ gruesome” as they used to be. Most folks have had pizza burns that are more painful. Take the meds starting before the procedure unless advised otherwise. Good luck!
