Maybe they used WS database, and had WS run the formulas prev mentioned?


There were several sources in wrestling media that stated the ACC used the formulas previously discussed on this board.

Looks like that link generates to a sorted order by wrestlestat's RPI rankings, which is a whole other complex formula.

Coach Pop mentioned in his NC State podcast this week that in past years, coaches had argued it out, but this year they agreed to use wrestlestat.

Being the 1st year ACC used it, there were probably some quirk's that lead to those 174 rankings.
