Bad day. Even Kenny Pickett had 33.5” vert. All QBs but one had >27”

Combined with his broad jump it was a bad showing. 4 of the 7 QBs have even had longer broad jumps, including Pickett. Dunno what happened. Unprepared? Nervous? Illness? Injury?

I went and looked at the 2019 combine and every single QB of the 17 at that combine had a higher vert. The worst vert among WRs in 2019 combine was a 30” and that was an outlier. Tre’s 27” is really, really low for a WR. Low regardless of position. In fact there were 28 OT and OL who had higher verts in 2019. Just a bad set of numbers he put up today outside of the 40, which was still itself almost in the bottom third.
