Camera focused on something other that the free throw shot, then you have to look at the score to see if it changed to know if the shot was hit or missed. No one whose job it is to show you the game seems to have any idea what the viewer wants to see. Show whatever you want to show when the clock is not running, but when it is running show the floor, and hopefully the end of the floor where the action is.

Adding to ronvpi's post, not disputing, it doesn't really matter that you cannot hear the announcers say because they don't give you any good information anyway. If someone is double teamed and a foul is called they rarely tell you which of the players the foul was called on. They are too busy talking about nonsense.

If you want to see a game, you better go to it.
