They are playing at the Rams Head in Annapolis next month

I've been to concerts at Ram's Head so I get e-mails with future acts.

It surprised me that they were still around so I did some research. None of the original members is in the band, and the one with the most seniority as a member of Iron Butterfly has been touring with them since 1999 (when there were still some original members touring).

Can a band whose big hit was in 1966 still call itself Iron Butterfly if the most senior member of the current band has been performing just since 1999? Does anyone really want to pay $$ to see these guys do Inagaddadavida?

I will not be attending this concert. I am going to see Al Stewart next month. I believe it is the same Al Stewart that performed the original hits.
