My job wasnt sexy but I made sure the armorer, MT, COMM, Engineers kept your equipment operational...PMs, functions checks, motor stables, corrective maintenance, made sure they issed the gear SL3 complete with all its componenets, they had their tools and diagnostics equipment for corrective maintenance..... stayed on supply's ass to get the parts or get the deficient equipment so we can do what the Marine Corps wanted is to do..... lot of other non-sexy behind the scenes stuff... always realized my role in the big picture and tried to make sure my Marine did as well..... still see it today where some moron in a supply shop think they are the tip of the spear and dont support because their ego gets in the way.... as a retiree working with the Marine Corps, i love those moments to mentor.
