Baffling In-Game Decisions


Pinch-hitting Milius for Bailey (0-2 but unlucky hitting into a shift), Repko for Brown (reached base twice), Rountree (rarely gets any ABs, much less in a big spot) for Slaw…not one of his finest coaching performances.

Also would be curious why he’s given up coaching 3rd base — Coach Lewis has been over there the past few games. That came into play when Ritter doubled and Fagan was held at 3rd. 0 outs with 3-4-5 coming up, so makes sense, but still thought Fagan could’ve been sent.

Big crowd today — disappointing there wasn’t much noise from Hokie fans (at least 50% of the attendance).
