I think you make a valid .......

point, particularly given the circumstances as they exist. VT has staked its claim to a top ranking position and seemingly identified its top two options in the circle. Based on that a mid-week loss to a capable but, probably not great, team likely hurts more than any lost development opportunity for those not yet getting regular time. I might be inclined to think somewhat differently if either of the two conditions I mentioned did not exist.
