Because they had Malik Williams ahead of him?


Williams was their Senior starting PF/C averaging 9ppg and 8rpg. He went out injured and they have been giving Curry additional focus lately. But its not his first significant playing time. He scored 22 vs NCST back in January.

Keep in mind Curry was a JUCO transfer who weighed over 300lb when he enrolled @ Louisville last summer. Dude had to do a ton of work just to get in shape enough to play in the ACC.

Started getting some good minutes in January
also note that Louisville is 3-10 when he gets more than 10 minutes.
