Watch a couple of episodes of Viking Vahalla. The custom designer and

props guy did an exceptional job. It was not bad. Obviously looking at from their point of view the Christians are portrayed as more the evil doers. History does say that King Canute was a fairly pragmatic guy at least for medieval times and Leif Erikson was a badass. Leif the Lucky first European to discover the new world.
