How does Jerry Palm not have us on the bubble...


He has every team up to 51 in Net Rankings either in the tournament or on the bubble, except #41 Virginia Tech and #48 Oklahoma (who is 5-11 in conference play and has lost 11 of their last 14).

Jerry Palm doesn't even have us in his last 18 teams out.

I can understand not putting us in the tourney, but not even on the bubble with 18 other teams as of today? He has teams with a Net Ranking of 81 and 84 still on the bubble. What's the point of Net Ratings if it isn't an indicator of selection? Should we just go back to the "eye test" and cherry-picked criteria to exclude certain teams? Should we just look at Quadrant 1 record? Then how do you explain UNC being his first team out with a Quadrant 1 record of 1-7?

Hopefully just an oversight, otherwise he loses a lot of credibility to not consider us a bubble team.
