Quite a few problems with that

1 - Russia pays the Ukraine $2B a year in usage rights to operate those pipelines.

2 - Cutting off the oil and gas supply to Europe cripples Europe as much or more than in cripples Russia.

3 - There is no possible way Russia didn't foresee that as a potential risk and they likely already have under-the-table agreements in place with China, India, and SE Asia to send them oil. So revenue is preserved and the only ones who actually get hurt are the Ukraine and Europe...which is kinda the point of all this anyway.

Putin is not some unhinged psychotic dictator like in NK. Pretty sure he is a meglomaniac, but he's not an idiot. He studied the chessboard for a long time before making his move.
