Salary is a reflection of market value and entertainment dollars the league brings in. It sucks to feel like you're born early, but that's happened for years.
I know it makes these guys wish they had today's rules regarding touching receivers and QBs back when they were playing.
One thing I feel like they have every right to be bitter about is how the league just seemingly chewed them up and spit them out regarding injuries, especially head injuries. Different times and less knowledge about long-term implications, but it's nice to see people recognize it now and try to do something for the older long-retired players.
