I was playing pond hockey up the road at a friends house

which is in the sticks about 4 hours south of Lake Placid. Word leaked out while we were playing and we all turned it up a notch and started playing super fast and aggressive, even though it was a pickup game.

It's one of those moments in life where you remember exactly where you were.
