Where the organization came from means

the backstory of how someone rich and powerful discovered/decided that an independent spy agency, operating outside the realm of conventional politics, could possibly do a lot of good in the world. And thus he founded the Kingsmen.

What made the franchise special was it's tongue-in-cheek approach to the spy movie genre and how it directly called out and made fun of the tropes.

Kingsman gave us the former, in a rather boring and trope-filled stereotypical spy movie. We got virtually none of the latter.
