That's silly. If we win 5 of the next 6 we'd be 21-12, and won 11 of 13

Please don't get caught up in the moment of a single game. Yes, this loss hurt immensely as we have little to no margin for error now. If we win the next 3 of 4 regular season and make the ACC championship game we'd be in a decent position. If we beat Duke in the ACC tournament that is a huge resume builder.

The disappointment in today is if we had won, there's a good chance we would have been in the "First 4 out" or possibly even in. The benefit is it generates buzz. This is why teams that won early but have faltered late still get mentioned.
