Because of trying to keep up with my two young boys for 3 hours at a roller skating rink birthday party on my own this morning. My one hope was a pleasant feeling from this bball game. I guess I’ll just dip into this Sierra Nevada party pack…. Pedulla is a gamer, got rattled and missed an easy pass to Aluma in the waining minutes that probably wouldn’t have helped anyway. Cattoor didn’t get too many good looks, they guarded very high and tight on our 3 ballers. They also were very happy to fall back and entice our lesser shooters to have room behind the arc. Our high low game was not working at all with Aluma and Mutts. And I am still confused to this day why Aluma and Mutts don’t turn and face the defender when they get the ball more than 6 feet from the basket, backing down defenders is not their strong suit. Storm I think can really ball out he just gets lost in the game sometimes in high pressure and in low pressure situations, I still have faith in him. Alleyne does not play well when we are sloppy. When things unravel he seems to get shaky. Maybe it’s confidence I don’t know. All together it just seemed weird on offense, when Mutts or Aluma try backing down bigger guys and failing at the n’teenth time you have to switch things up, that is not their strong suit, our bigs are finesse guys, turn around face the defender pump fake make a move type guys, we back down back down back down then take a no look fade away hook shot or some weird no chance scoop layup. I’m done acting like I know anything about basketball… I really thing when our heads and coaching are in it correctly we are dangerous as hell, this was just head scratching today
