Your 2nd part is spot on.


Having Maddox and Pedulla playing "better" for the most part and CMY trusting them a bit more, is giving Storm and Alleyne more rest, and not having to shoulder the load. I don't think it's any coincidence, that Storms shooting picked up, turnovers went down, as soon as Pedulla starting to grasp things and give him some help. Same for Maddox, especially from the defensive standpoint.

As for the 1st point, I STILL don't think Coach Young 100% trusts them to the fullest degree he can, so in that regard, Not sure they are the better players.....yet...
