The controversy in Cameron was very short. As soon

as the refs did the replay video check, they didn't hesitate to say the basket was good. I watched the replay twice and it was very clear (to me anyway) and to the refs that the ball was pretty much even with the rim but outside of the cylinder when Williams grabbed it and dunked it. If the refs had seen something else, you can only assume they would have made a different call. I haven't heard anyone on either team/coaches, etc. challenge the final ruling. Just one Hokie's opinion but it was an easy call on the replay.
