Well, according to existing policy (which can be found online)

a group can pay parking services for parking. Maybe @VTChip would know if that is occurring in this instance. I would hate for the softball team to be paying for parking for fans. What I hope is that someone in the AthDept has decided to talk to parking services and waive the parking fee.
