Really? Lenardi and such include recent records when they discuss resumes


which, given they are pretty connected with the people making the decisions, I would assume means they think it matters.

not to mention common sense, which says you'd put in a team that is hot in Feb/Mar over a team that has fallen apart in Feb/Mar after a hot streak all else being equal.

Like everything else, it's not a single thing, it's a bunch of factors that are used.
