I was born in '77, so I guess you can say I grew up on Star Wars. I will say that I never watched the animated series growing up. It wasn't until I subscribed to Disney+ that I started watching them. If people thought George Lucas was on crack when he wrote the prequels and created Jar Jar, then he started doing crack when he wrote the 2 Ewok movies.

The only reason I "care" about CB's color is because I believe if you are going to do something based on source material, regardless whether it is a book, comic strip, comic book, or whatever, then I believe the product should try to remain true to the source material. For example, "Death on the Nile" is based on an Agatha Christie book. I would have a problem if the directed decided that Hercule Poirot should have a purple mohawk, a beard that would put ZZ Tops to shame, tattoos covering his entire body, multiple body piercings, and talked with a Kiwi accent even though he is French. I mean there are some things you just don't do even if you are dying to take creative liberties with a project. Like saying "UVA athletics is the greatest thing since sliced brie" on a VT message board or "Orange is the worst color ever invented by mankind" to Stork.
